Orley Seymour Stapley was my great-great-grandfather.
In 1895, at twenty-three, he opened a hardware and farm supply store on Main Street in Mesa with $880 in savings. Fire destroyed it in 1906. He reopened in rented space and kept going. Over the next fifty years it grew into the largest mercantile business in Arizona and the largest International Harvester dealer in the country, with nine stores across Mesa, Phoenix, Glendale, Chandler, Buckeye, Casa Grande, Coolidge and Maricopa.
He sits four generations straight up my father's side, and I carry his first name. Those are largely the same towns I serve today, and Mesa still has a Stapley Drive named after him. He built that business by showing up, doing the work, and keeping his word. That is the standard I hold myself to with your books.

Bookkeeping is remote work. Your bank feed, your QuickBooks file and your reports do not care where either of us is sitting, so distance has never been the limit. Being in Mesa means Valley clients can meet face to face when it helps. Everyone else gets the same service over email, phone and screen share.
